中文摘要: 下一代宽带无线通信系统要能够支持高达1Gbps的峰值无线传输速率,就必须考虑充分利用感知、合作、反馈、移动性等通信机制,采用自适应通信、协作通信与网络通信等技术。作为实现链路自适应的重要技术手段,在未来的网络环境下自适应传输技术仍然是逼近系统容量的必然选择。本项目针对分布式无线网络环境下自适应传输技术所面临的关键问题,在以下方向积极展开相关研究工作:基于重量谱特性的自适应Turbo编码技术,Turbo码性能建模,协作分集和物理层网络编码技术,信道估计与同步技术、空时分集技术、感知无线电、无线传感器、基于压缩感知的图像去噪等技术。经过三年的研究工作,目前项目组在上述研究方向取得了一批有创新性的研究成果,在基于重量谱分析的自适应Turbo编码设计,Turbo码性能建模,信道估计与信道同步技术,协作分集等关键技术研究中取得突破,特别是项目组围绕Turbo码性能建模的相关工作,在国际上首次提出了刻画和描述瀑布区的Turbo码性能的指数函数模型以及同时刻画瀑布区和错误平层区的复合性能模型,具有重要的理论和应用价值,对于深入揭示Turbo码性能形成机制具有重要的借鉴价值。

英文摘要: In order to support up to 1Gbps peak wireless transmission in the next generation broadband wireless communication system, we have to figure out effective schemes to taken into considerations of the cognition, cooperation, feedback and mobility mechanism to enable adaptive, cooperative and dynamic networking communcations. As one of the most important link/connection adaption schemes, adaptive transmission techiques will play an important role in future distributed wireless communication to approach the system capacity. In our research, we focus on those criticial technologies to enable adaptive transmission for future wireless broadband networks, more specifically, weight-spectrum based adaptive Turbo coding, the performance modeling for Turbo codes, cooperative diversity and physical layer network coding, channel estimate and synchronization, space-time diversity, cogitive radio and some other techniques are the research subjects of our project. After the extensive investigation in the last three years, we have worked out a series of innovative research results in weight-spectrum based adaptive Turbo code design,performance modeling for Turbo codes, channel estimate and synchronization, cooperative diversity. More specifically, for the first time, we proposed the exponential model to characterize the waterfall performance region of Turbo code as well as the composite model to characterize both the waterfall and error floor performance region of Turbo codes. This technical breakthrough is important in terms of both theoretical analysis and practical application. For example,the proposed performance model could be utilized to unveil the complicated iterative Turbo decoding mechanism. Basically, all of our research goals are realized as scheduled.
