中文摘要: 在人类活动和气候变化影响下,泥炭地急剧退化。由于气候变化的加剧,土壤表层泥炭地在有氧环境下快速分解,亚表层泥炭也可能加速代谢过程。然而,目前对退化泥炭地土壤亚表层碳循环及其对气候变化的响应还缺乏研究。本项目拟选取若尔盖高寒泥炭沼泽地为研究对象,重点研究自然退化泥炭地土壤亚表层含碳温室气体排放特征及其与土壤酶活性之间的关系。并通过气候变化模拟实验揭示不同退化阶段,泥炭地亚表层含碳温室气体排放及其酶学过程对气候变化的敏感性。本研究可加深我们对不同退化阶段泥炭地碳循环对气候变化响应的认识,揭示土壤亚表层在这一过程中的重要作用,为退化泥炭地生态系统的恢复、保护和管理提供科学依据,对完善我国温室气体排放清单具有重要的意义。

英文摘要: Climate change and human activities,two of notable global environmental issues, are accelerating peatlands degradation. Global warming will increase the rate of aerobic decomposition in the surface of peatlands. Carbon stored in the subsurface of peatlands would be metabolized if climatic conditions become more favorable for the decomposition. However, little is known about the carbon cycling in the subsurface of pealands and its response to climate change. We intent to quantify the subsurface CO2 and CH4 fluxes in Zoige peatlands and investigate its relationship with soil enzymatic activity. Furthermore, we also verify the characteristics of subsurface CO2 and CH4 fluxes and its enzymatic mechanism in degraded peatlands under climate change. This project could improve our knowledge about soil succession process of degradation peatlads and provide a scientific basis for peatlands protection and management.
