中文摘要: 随着近年来亨德拉,尼帕等烈性传染病的暴发,人们对蝙蝠所携带的病毒越来越重视。在开展蝙蝠病毒的流行病学监测过程中,分离到一株呼肠孤病毒,由于携带该病毒的蝙蝠来自广东省西江流域,因此将其命名为西江病毒(XRV)。形态学和理化特性初步表明西江病毒为呼肠孤病毒。为进一步确定该病毒的遗传进化地位及其分子生物学特性,我们将对西江病毒的全基因组序列进行测定和功能基因分析。在此基础上,将其与国内外已发现的其它蝙蝠呼肠孤病毒进行系统发生分析以确定其遗传进化关系。与此同时,我们还将对来自我国不同省市的蝙蝠样品进行呼肠孤病毒的病原生态学研究,并对该病毒的致病特性进行鉴定。本研究从西江病毒的分子生物学及病原生态学出发,研究结果对蝙蝠源传染性病毒病的防控具有重要的理论指导意义。

英文摘要: Bat virus is an upgoing concern in public with recent outbreak of bat-derived infectious diseases Hendra and Nepah. Therefore, the epidemiological surveilance of bat viruses was carried out in our lab. Unexpectedly a reovirus, Xi River Virus (XRV) was isolated, and it is named for the derived place of bat, the Xi River in Guangdong province. Morphology and physic-chemico charaterization of XRV indicated that it is a reovius belonging to the genus Orthoreovirus and the family Reoviridae.To further determine its classification and molecular biology, complete genome of XRV will be sequenced and analyzed. The resulting genome sequence can be used for phylogenetic analysis with other bat reovirus isolated before. Furthermore, the ecology of bat reovirus in our country will be also performed in the present study as well as the pathogenity of XRV. Thus, the present study is useful for providing theoretical information for prevention and control of bat-derived infectious virus diseases.
