中文摘要: 祁连山的变形扩展过程是理解青藏高原隆升扩展的关键问题之一,归因于祁连山是高原的最新组成部分,代表了高原最新的扩展过程。并且在晚第四纪以来,祁连山还在持续向北扩展与抬升,形成系列新的断裂-褶皱系统。该项目拟以祁连山中段为研究区域,以区域持续发育的和新增生的断裂-褶皱为研究对象,利用地貌面(冲洪积台面、河流阶地、冲洪积扇等)的变形特征及其年代学结果,研究断裂-褶皱构造系统的几何学特征与变形过程。最后以断裂相关褶皱的几何学和运动学基本模型为基础,建立数值模型,模拟分析构造变形与地貌面变形过程,再结合他人研究成果,如断裂活动、物探、地层等资料,对区域构造变形动力学过程进行分析,探讨祁连山地区抬升扩展的动力学机制问题。

英文摘要: How the Qilian Shan ('Shan' means mountian in Chinese) deformed and extended is one of the key questions in understanding the deforming mechanism of the Tibetan Plateau, for the Qilian Shan is the newest part of the Platueau, which means its uplift and deforming represent the latest extension of the Plateau.In late Quaternary,the Qilian Shan is continuous uplifting and extending to the north,and in the mean time,new fault-folding system is built along its front.In order to disclose the deforming process and extending mechamism along the Qilian Shan, we plan to study the kinematics of the fault related fold systems in the middle portion of the Qilian Shan, using deformed geomorphic surfaces, such as fluvial terraces, old and young alluvail fan surfaces. Based on investigations of the geometries of deformed geomorphic surfaces and age studies of the surfaces,we analyze the growing process and geometries of the fault related fold systems.Then,referencing to geometry models and kinematic processes, we build math models to simulating the kinematics of fault related folds.Finally, in combing our investigations and other studies on fault activities, strata,and seismic profiles, we try to explore the dynamic procss of the deformation and extension on the Qilian Shan.
