中文摘要: 亚澳季风区的局地环流系统,不仅各成员之间存在密切联系,还受到其他区域强迫出的大气遥相关的影响,而多数遥相关型被认为是行星波能量频散形成的,由此可见行星波传播对亚澳季风环流系统的变异具有重要作用。然而现有的行星波传播理论仍然存在缺陷和不足,没有全面地考虑基本场和辐散效应,因此得到的行星波传播规律与实际情况仍存在差异。本项目将基于水平非均匀基流,建立有辐散大气中行星波传播新理论,结合实际资料分析其传播特征,并采用理论模型和大气环流模式进行数值试验,分析和评估亚澳季风区背景流和辐合辐散效应对行星波传播的影响,揭示实际大气中亚澳季风区行星波传播特征,为更清楚地认识亚澳季风区各环流系统相互作用的本质提供理论依据和科学指导。

英文摘要: There is not only close relationship between members of the local circulation system over the Asian-Australian monsoon (AAM) region, but also effect of the atmospheric teleconnections forced by the sources over other regions on them. The important role of the planetary wave propagation in the variability of the AAM circulations is indicated by the understanding of the wave energy dispersion as the cause of teleconnections. However, the existed theory of planetary wave propagation is still limited with incomplete consideration of the basic flow and divergent effect. As a result, the departures between the regular patterns of planetary wave propagation derived from the existed theory and those in the real atmosphere are generated. Therefore, a new theory of planetary wave propagation in divergent atmosphere based on the horizontal non-uniform basic flow will be established with the support of this program. Then, the propagation characteristics will be analyzed using the observation data, the different influences of the basic flow and divergent effect on the planetary wave propagation over the AAM region will be evaluated by numerical experiments using theoretical model and atmospheric general circulation model.
