中文摘要: 粲夸克偶素物理对于了解微扰-非微扰QCD过渡区域强相互作用行为非常重要。共振态最基本的性质用三个参数来表征:质量,轻子宽度和总宽度。理论模型对其做出的预言需要精确的实验测量加以检验。本项目将利用北京谱仪BESIII对粲偶素J/psi和psi(2S)共振峰进行细致能量扫描,在峰位附近若干能量点获取数据,采取用能量测量系统刻度束流能量、以改进的强子产生器LUARLW确定效率、由可靠的辐射修正方案计算截面等措施,精确测量各能量点的强子末态和轻子末态的截面,用拟合理论公式的方法测定J/psi和psi(2S)三个特征参数,使其精度好于以往的实验测量值。

英文摘要: Charmonium physics is very important for understanding the strong interactions in the transition region from perturbative to non-perturbative QCD. The basic properties of resonance are characterized by three parameters: mass, leptonic and total width. The theoretical predictions need test by precise experimental measurements. This project intends to measure the cross sections of inclusive hadronic and leptonic final states of the charmonium states J/psi and psi(2S), via a fine energy scan in the vicinity of the resonance peaks, at the BESIII detector. With the newly deployed beam energy measurement system, the improved hadronic event generator LUARLW and the reliable initial state radiation calculation, by fitting the experimental data it is expected to obtain the resonant parameters with higher precision compared to the previous measurements.
