中文摘要: 粲偶素是研究低能QCD理论的理想实验室。尽管eta_c是基态粲偶素,也是最重要的粲偶素之一,但无论实验上或理论上,人们对其性质的了解都非常少。根据微扰QCD理论,eta_c- - >VV衰变过程是螺旋度选择规则禁戒的过程,其分支比可用于检验这一规则被破坏的程度;这些衰变过程的分支比还可用于确定eta_c通过两胶子湮灭三种动力学因素贡献的比例;将所有eta_c- - >VV衰变分支比联合可研究SU(3)对称性的破缺。本项目利用处于世界先进水平的BEPCII/BESIII探测器采集的世界上最大样本的2.06亿J/psi事例,基于BESIII离线软件系统,研究eta_c- - >VV衰变末态,改善一些已有分支比的统计精度,测量尚未有实验数据的一些过程的分支比,填补PDG上的空白,为发展微扰QCD理论和进一步研究粲偶素的衰变特性提供重要的实验数据。

英文摘要: Charmonium is an ideal laboratory for studing QCD in lower energy region. People know few about eta_c although it is the ground charmonium state and one of the most important charmonium states. According to perturbative QCD,the process of eta_c decays to vector-vector (VV) mesons is forbidden by hadron helicity conservation, their branching fractions can be used to test the violation of this rule; the relative contributions of the three different mechanisms in two gluons annihilation relevant to the decays of eta_c- - >VV can be determined, once all branching ratios to VV final states are measured; their branching fractions also can be used to study the SU(3) symmetry breaking. Based on BESIII offline software system, by using 206 M J/psi events collected with BEPCII/BESIII, we will measure the branching fractions of eta_c decays to VV final states with the highest precision or for the first time. It will make sense to perturbative QCD and further studies of the properties of charmonium decay.
