英文摘要: Climate warming significantly affects insect's development, dynamics, distribution and damages. Providing with obviously physiological and/or ecological advantages, most invasive insect species are easier to adapt to the environment change pressure in the face of climate warming. As a consequence, the invasive population has been shifting both on biology and ecology, which causes the corresponding control methods to be updated or adjusted. Therefore, study on effect of climate warming on population of an invasive insect species has been emerging as a hot topic both on science and application. The present project will focus on a key scientific issues that concerns the effects of climate warming on the population development and history of an urban invasive insect species, the sycamore lace bug, Corythucha ciliata. This pest is a new invasive pest that was native to temperate regions and now invades widely in subtropical China and feeds on Platanus trees seriously in China. Appling the theories and methods from population ecology, global change ecology and invasive biology, we are intended to study on shifts of the occurrence, development and fecundity of the bugs in response to rising temperatures under climate warming. According to these studies, we want to further analyze and forecast the future population trend
