中文摘要: 本项目将以地幔磷酸盐矿物(如Zn3(PO4)2、Pb3(PO4)2)为研究对象,采用高温高压矿物学的实验研究方法,利用金刚石对顶砧装置和激光加温技术模拟地幔温压条件(~60 GPa和~1800 oC),并通过同步辐射X射线衍射、X射线吸收精细结构等手段,探讨磷酸盐矿物的高温高压稳定性及局域结构变化特征。地幔磷酸盐矿物的化学组成和地质产状都比较特殊,其地质学的重要性没有被完全认识。通过对其高温高压结构的研究,可以为更深入了解地球深部物质组成及演化等地球深部基础地质问题提供矿物学的依据。这种高温高压X射线衍射与X射线吸收精细结构相结合的研究方法,不仅具有地幔地质学和矿物晶体化学两方面的意义,而且对提高我国高压科学研究水平和同步辐射大科学装置的应用水平有积极推动作用。

英文摘要: The high-temperature and high-pressure (HTHP) structure of phosphates (such as Zn3(PO4)2, Pb3(PO4)2) will be investigated. In order to study their structural stabilities and local structural characteristics (~60 GPa and ~1800 ℃), we will use the Diamond Anvil Cell (DAC), laser heating, synchrotron radiation X-Ray diffraction (XRD) and X-ray absorption fine structure(XAFS) methods. Because the chemical compositions and geological occurrences of phosphates are very complicated, it is helpful for us to understand what the geological process is in the deep Earth and to provide mineralogical evidences by studying their HTHP structures. The combination of HTHP XRD experiments and XAFS is a bold attempt. It is not only positive in promoting the application of large scientific instrument, but also meaningful in mantle geology and mineral crystal chemistry.
