中文摘要: CERN的LHC2012年要在8 TeV能量进行对撞,要大量提高其亮度。2012年内将对是否存在标准模型的Higgs玻色子作出结论,并继续探索超出标准模型的新物理。2014年将把对撞能量提高到14 TeV,更有利于展开新物理的探索,有望发生重大突破。我们将密切结合LHC的实验进行有关新物理模型的提出,新物理效应的普遍探测,电弱破缺机制的深入探索等研究,为我国参加LHC实验的实验组提供新的自主研究课题。我国的BEPC已升级为BEPCII和BESIII,探测能力和对撞亮度都大大提高。我们已为BEPC提供了有效地测量出夸克的反常色-电偶极矩(新的CP破坏源)的实验课题。我们还要系统地建立相对论耦合道理论(国际上尚无此理论),使得能够对tau-粲能区的物理进行更为可靠的理论预言,并能系统地统一研究重的和轻的介子的性质。

英文摘要: The CERN LHC will run at 8 TeV in 2012, and will significantly increase the luminosity.In 2012, the LHC can draw the conclusion on whether there is a standard model Higgs boson or not, and will continue to search for new physics beyond the standard model. The colliding energy of the LHC will be increased to 14 TeV in 2014, which is more powerful in searching for new physics, and may lead to significant break through. Our research will be closely related to the LHC experiments including propossing new models beyond the standard model, studying general model-independent way of probing new physics effects, and making deeper study of the electroweak symmetry breaking mechanism, and providing new experimental projects to the Chinese teams joining the LHC experiments. BEPC has been upgraded to BEPCII and BESIII with much larger luminosity and detecting efficiency. We have already provided effective methods for measuring the anomalous color-electric dipole moment (a new source of CP violation) to BES. We shall further systematically construct a relativistic coupled-channel theory (there is no this kind of theory so far) to make the predictions in the tau-charm region more reliable, and may make unifed study of the properties of both heavy and light mesons.
