中文摘要: 多室草苔虫是海洋污损生物群落优势种,同时从其提取的化学物质也具有潜在药用价值。多室草苔虫幼虫的附着变态过程是其生活史中的关键阶段,幼虫附着变态的成功与否直接决定着其种群的生长繁殖,因此,对多室草苔虫幼虫附着变态机理的研究将为其人工养殖和污损防除奠定理论基础。本项目针对在多室草苔虫幼虫附着变态过程起重要调控作用的物理和化学两类关键因子,研究它们对该幼虫附着变态过程的影响及神经活性物质在此过程中的调控作用。研究结果表明温度、盐度、光照、附着基质等物理因子以及神经活性物质等化学因子在诱导或抑制多室草苔虫幼虫附着变态过程中起着重要调控作用。同时,优化多室草苔虫成体产出幼虫的适宜培养条件,为多室草苔虫幼虫附着变态机理研究及其人工养殖提供充足幼虫来源。

英文摘要: The bryozoan Bugula neritina L. is a dominant fouling organism worldwide and has been the focus of great interest for large scale culturing because of the bioactive substances extracted from the animals. Larval settlement and metamorphosis are important stages in the life history of bryozoan and critical for the growth of juveniles and eventually reproduction. Thus, understanding the mechanism of bryozoan larval settlement and metamorphosis are of great importance to the biofouling prevention and mariculture of this species. Factors affecting larval settlement and metamorphosis, which derived from physical and chemical cues, were studied in the present work. Different cues studied played an important role in inducing or inhibiting larval settlement of this species. Moreover, the larval production conditions of the bryozoan Bugula neritina were optimized, and this could help provide adequate larvae for larval settlement and metamorphosis studies or for mass artificial culture of this species.
