中文摘要: 柱芳烃是1,4-对苯二酚通过 2,5-亚甲基桥连起来的环状化合物。由于它可以和阳离子以及中性分子进行络合,而且其羟基很容易进行修饰,柱芳烃正逐渐成为第五代主体分子,吸引了越来越多科研工作者的关注,但是至今尚未引入到大分子自组装中。我们通过原子转移自由基活性聚合以及"click"等反应,得到几种结构相对比较确定的含柱芳烃的聚合物:以柱芳烃为"核"的星形聚合物、端基为柱芳烃的线性聚合物、侧基含柱芳烃的共聚物。根据这些聚合物的特点,选择合适的客体分子(小分子或聚合物),研究它们之间通过包结络合作用构建超分子共聚物,从而探讨超分子结构与性质之间的关系。进一步依据聚合物的性质,通过温度、pH值等环境的改变,促进超分子共聚物组装,得到具有温度响应的水凝胶,以及具有温度和pH响应的胶束。

英文摘要: Pillararene is composed of 1,4-disubstituted hydroquinones linked by methylene bridges in the 2,5-positions. It can form complexes with a wide range of guest molecules, including cations and neutral molecules. In addition, the hydroxyl groups of pillararenes can be easily functionalized. Due to these advantages, pillararene has attracted increasing interest and probably become the fifth generation of host molecules. However, macromolecular self assembly containing pillararene has not been reported yet. In this project, several well-defined polymers containing pillararene, such as star polymer with pillararene as the core, linear polymer terminated with pillararene and copolymer with pillararene as the pendant group are designed via atom transfer radical polymerization and "click" reaction. In order to reveal the relationship between structures and properties, supramolecular copolymers will be constructed through the inclusion complexation between pillararene containing polymers and guest molecules (small molecules or polymers). The self-assembly behaviors of the obtained complexes under different temperature and pH will be studied according to the properties of polymers. Thermo-responsive hydrogels and thermo-, pH-responsive micelles will be prepared.
