中文摘要: 移动界面存在于很多科学与工程问题中,其数值模拟对相关领域的工程设计和理论分析有着非常重要的意义。但由于界面形变的复杂性,以及解(或者解的通量)在界面上的间断性,使得高效数值模拟移动界面问题一直是个比较有挑战性的研究课题。界面拟合网格数值模拟方法是众多移动界面问题数值模拟方法的一类,其具有保质量守恒、保界面附近最优插值等优点,有获得高精度的潜力,但如何高效生成界面拟合网格一直是该类方法的瓶颈,限制了它的推广和应用。因此本项目将围绕该类方法中的界面拟合网格快速生成问题展开研究。我们将依据最新的界面问题有限元误差估计理论,并结合成熟的网格自适应技术和网格局部调整技术,研究设计二维和三维移动界面问题中的自适应界面拟合网格快速生成算法,完善相关有限元理论,发展基于界面拟合网格的自适应有限元算法,促进界面拟合网格方法在移动界面问题数值模拟中的推广和应用。

英文摘要: Moving interfaces exist in many problems of science and engineering,and its numerical simulation is very important to engineering design and theoretical analysis. The complexity of interface deformations and the discontinuity of the solution and/or the flux make the numerical methods for moving interface problems a challenging task. The numerical method based on interface-fitted mesh is one of the many numerical methods for the simulation of moving interface problem, which offers potentially the higher accuracy by its advantages of mass conservation and preserving the interpolation optimality etc. But how to efficiently generate an interface-fitted mesh is the key trouble of such method which make it difficult to be widly used. In this project, based on the latest FEM error estimates theory for interface problems, the mature mesh adaptive and the local mesh adjustment technology, we study the faster adaptive generation algorithm of interface-fitted mesh, improve the correlative FEM theory, and develop adaptive FEM algorithm based on the interface-fitted mesh, to promote the application of the numerical method based on interface-fitted mesh in the numerical simulation of moving interface problems.
