Due to research demands, I am recruiting postdoctoral research fellows for up to 4 openings in my research group. 

Work Place: Shenzhen University, China.

Position start date: Available immediately 

Position deadline: Open until fully filled

Research Areas

a) Artificial Intelligent, Operation Research, Evolutionary Computation 

b) Financial Engineering, Business Intelligence, Big Data Analysis 

c) Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, Entrepreneurial Education

Requirements

a) Applicants are expected to be less than 35 years in age and must have obtained their PhD’s within the past 3 years. 

b) Full time for Postdoctoral Research Fellow.

Salary and Benefits

a) Wages and allowances: above RMB300 K/ year (3900USD/Month). After initial exam by presentation, you can get 120K RMB from City of Shenzhen usually after starting 3 months, another 120K RMB after mid-term exam by presentation usually after starting one year. 

b) Based on the above wages and allowance, more RMB 2k/month allowance for postdoctoral research fellows will be given to who are less than 33 years old and within 1 year after PhD graduation if you got PhD degree from the first 200 Universities in Times Higher Education World University Rankings, or you have three journal publications at (above) JCR 2th level.

Introduction for Supervisor

Dr. Ben Niu is a Zhujiang Scholar Professor of Guangdong Province, China and also the Head with Department of Management Science, Shenzhen University, China. Dr Niu had experiences of visiting at University of Edinburgh in 2018, Arizona State University in 2016, Victoria University of Wellington in 2013, and The Hong Kong University in 2011. During 2013 to 2016 he had been working as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. In the recent 5 years, he was awarded several honors, including ‘ Hong Kong Scholar’ , ‘Zhujiang Scholar of Guangdong Province’, ’Thousand Hundred Ten Talents of Guangdong Province’, Top Youth Talent of Guangdong Province‘, ‘Overseas High-Caliber Personnel of Shenzhen’, and ‘High-Level Professional in Shenzhen’. As a principle investigator, he supervised 5 projects from National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 projects from Chinese Postdoctoral Science Foundation. He has published more than 150 papers in the international Journals and international conferences, among which 50 are in refereed international journals, including IEEE/ACM Transactions, AMC, COR, NC, IJPR, IJIM,CIE et al. His main fields of research are Artificial Intelligent Optimization, Operation Research and their applications on Big Data Analysis, Financial Engineering, Business Intelligence, Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management, etc. He can be reached by email at drniuben@gmail.com
